A colder than average Acura Key West Race Week did not slow down teams from Larchmont YC in 2009. Jason Carroll’s Melges 32 Argo, with Larchmont members John and Molly Baxter, Chad Corning and Dan Litchfield aboard, finished 7 of their 10 races in the top quarter of the competitive, international 20-boat fleet to place third overall in the Melges 32 class, one point out of second place. Carroll and crew finished third overall in fleet on both Tuesday and Thursday and first overall in fleet on Friday, thanks to a second and a third on the final day to clinch the podium finish.
