Important Arrival Information for

Saturday, October 3

On the morning of Saturday, October 3, a children's triathlon will periodically close off several streets surrounding Larchmont Yacht Club. We have been working closely with the local police and our security staff to ensure that our sailors and guests are inconvenienced as little as possible by this event.

If you can get your optimists on Club grounds on Friday afternoon or evening, please do so. Registration will be open on Friday until 8:00 p.m.
Please approach the Club by taking Boston Post Road to Larchmont Avenue to Woodbine Avenue.
Please have all optimists and sailors on Club grounds on Saturday morning by 8:00 am. Between 8:00 and 9:30 or so, cars approaching or leaving the Club (both on Larchmont Avenue and Woodbine Avenue) will be stopped periodically for passing bike racers. Cars will be able to enter and leave the Club during breaks in the races, but you may be asked to wait a few minutes to avoid interfering with the bike course.
If you are arriving after 8:00 am and would like to walk into the Club to help your sailors, diagonal parking will be available on Larchmont Avenue starting at 7:00 am on the blocks between Willow Avenue and Walnut Avenue, which will be marked by police barricades.
The triathlon (and any local traffic and parking disruptions) should be over no later than 10:00 am.
